I stay at the Econolodge Main Gate (870 S Harbor Blvd) when I go to DL which is at least once a year. Everyone else is correct it's a very busy and well lit street with many hotels, restaurants and businesses along it. Some of the Anaheim resorts have gone in together to create ART (Anaheim Resort Transit) it's not free but you can buy a day pass for $3 that lets you ride as much as you want (at many hotels not on the buses) or multi-day passes from the website (great service) and they pick up/drop off at or near alot of hotels and take you to DL.
