I think the Motel 6 is further away.
BTW, I stayed at the Desert Inn across the street from Disney for 5 days. It was a clean place to stay. It was nothing thrilling and the free continental breakfast wasn't a good spread, but there were many restaurants down the street from the hotel. It was a good place to stay, apart from the kids running up and down the hall. But hey, Disney is across the street so the noisy kids are understandable.
I think I got it for $59 a night last September. The price might be comparable to the Motel 6. Check them out at:
