I stayed there on a solo trip and it is right across the street from Disney. ALso if you take the Bus from JWA , the bus stop to drop you off and pick you up from the Airport is right there in front of the hotel. I found the room clean, quiet. I had a room with a balcony right in front,facing the street. It was nice. THe pool is nothing great, but I did not use it anyway. I wanted to be in the Parks.
Also stayed at the Hojos further down the street maybe 7 minute walk past the Tropicana. It was certainly nicer, nicer pools. But ask for a room not facing the highway. We had reserved a room that gave us a view of Disneyland.
I had 3 kids with me for that one.
