For EC and DHS, the Boardwalk is your best bet. You can walk or boat to EC and boat (or bus) to DHS. The walk is not bad at all.
We have found the bus service in that area to be below-par in that it seems to be slower than most lines because it serves a number of hotels. We always use WDW transportation and are pleased with it for the most part. But we have never experienced great success on this particular line; perhaps we have just been unlucky.
