Decade of Dreams in New York City: A Broadway Evening (Saturday, May 30, 2009)

Please join us on tour in New York City for ...

PassPorter's "Decade of Dreams"
Broadway Evening in NYC
May 30, 2009

PassPorter will be in the Big Apple to celebrate it's big 10th anniversary, and we're painting the town with a special evening which includes an original Disney on Broadway production of Mary Poppins!

WHEN: On Saturday, May 30, we'll gather together at 5:00 pm to socialize at the ESPN Zone near Times Square in New York City. Anyone who hasn't yet eaten is welcome to join us in a light supper -- order and pay for what you like. Then at 7:15 pm we'll walk over to the New Amsterdam Theatre on 42nd Street and get ready for the 8:00 pm showing of Mary Poppins!

WHO: Passes for the evening must have been purchased in advance, and the passes are now all gone. (So sorry!)

NOTES: The price of the evening ($79) includes a pass to Disney's Mary Poppins -- you get an orchestra seat, which normally goes for $121.50! Orchestra seats are on the main floor and offer the best views of the stage. Also included is a PassPorter's Club Dream Pass (see below)! We'll also have a special surprise for everyone who joins us on this special evening.

BONUS: All vacationers who purchase a Decade of Dreams Broadway Evening pass also receive a special "Dream Pass" to the PassPorter's Club, which provides full access to our popular Club to help you plan your trip, including access to exclusive "Decade of Dreams" items such as e-worksheets, avatar items, and signature graphics. The "Dream Pass" will remain in effect until the end of 2009 for all fully-paid vacationers. This is a $45 value!

COST: $79/person (Food/drink items you want at the eatery beforehand, and any concessions during the show are extras you must purchase on your own)

PRE-SHOW MEET INFO: Please meet us at the ESPN Club at 5:00 pm for our pre-show event, with plans to eat dinner between 5:30 and 6:00 pm. Look for us by the podium if you arrive early, or ask for the PassPorter group if you arrive later and do not see us. We will have a priority seating for our group and folks can order whatever they like off the menu (you'll pay for dinner on your own). Once we are done with dinner (around 7:15 pm), we will walk as a group the two blocks to the New Amsterdam Theater for the show.

Note: If you weren't able to get tickets with our group but would still like to meet us, you're more than welcome to join us at ESPN Club and have dinner with everyone! If you want to do this, please post in this thread so we know to expect you and can make sure we get enough tables. Thanks!

Parking Tip: Visit ESPN Zone and receive a special parking discount! Use Meyers Parking conveniently located less then one block away from ESPN Zone in Times Square. Guests who dine at ESPN Zone will receive a discount voucher that provides parking for up to 10 hours for just $18.00. The parking facility has entrances and exits on both 43rd and 44th Streets between 6th Avenue and Broadway.

SHOW SYNOPSIS: The world's most famous nanny is now one of Broadway's most popular new musicals! Cameron Mackintosh and The Walt Disney Company invite you to rediscover the power of family, the joy of youth, and the indelible memories that come to life at Cherry Tree Lane. Based on P.L. Travers' cherished stories and the classic 1964 Walt Disney film, Mary Poppins features the Sherman brothers' original Academy Award-winning songs ("A Spoonful of Sugar," "Feed the Birds," "Step in Time," and many more), and Oliver Award-winning director Richard Eyre leads a dream team of vision and stagecraft, bringing to life the story of the Banks family and their magical nanny.
