I love Toddler speak too!

Haille (my "neice" who is really my step cousin's daughter) is going through this at "gramma's house" (my aunt, whom I live with). Her parents find it easier to just let her sleep with them then letting her throw a fit not getting her way.

We have no problem with her staying in bed all night... so long as my dog (a pug) sleeps with her. She's so used to hearing someone breathing when she sleeps that she can't not have it.

I say all this to say - consistency is key, and don't give in - which it sounds like you aren't. But don't let her get into the habit of sleeping in your bed. I was 10 before I broke the habit, and it was a 'traumatic' experience that brought me to the breaking. I walked in without knocking, lets just leave it at that
