Disney Wonder Trip 1/25-1/29

Just thought I'd stop by to thank the Passporter crew and community for making our maiden cruise trip a resounding success.

In lieu of Christmas, we decided to take a family cruise, which included 13 of us - my brother's family (2 boys), my sister's family (1 girl), my family (1 boy, 1 girl) and my parents.

The weather was fantastic, and the kids all in the 2-8 range had a fabulous time, saw all three shows, got to nap so they could make the Pirates IN the Carribean deck party, and often told us 'we're not ready to go' when we checked on them at the Lab/Club. (As an aside, it was fantastic that they let the 2 girls (7 and 8) stay together and visit either the Lab or the Club) Actually, truth be told, they let my 4 year old nephew stay in the Lab, as he's a Roller Coaster Tycoon nut.

I couldn't believe how friendly the staff is, and how our servers really did become part of the family by the end of the 4 day cruise - we had fabulous servers! Dining was great, weather was great - we're pretty much ready to go again already!

The Passporter book gave us the ability to plan and prepare ahead of time, which was especially great for a large group with kids like we had - I don't think that anything 'surprised' us, or was left out of the guide. In addition, we found the DCL cruise clues e-book to be a fantastic addition to the planning phase.

What truly amazed me was that even after 3 days on the ship, I still was seeing areas of the ship I hadn't been to! Because of the Passporter community, we were ready with door decorations for all 4 staterooms - quite a contest to choose the winner, but I think the artist in the group won, with her sempaphore codes that changed daily...

Thanks to Jennifer and Dave for all of their hard work, as well as to those who add to the community with ideas and posts telling us what to expect, and sharing photos of their trips.

It was FABULOUS!
