| I've stayed at both and much prefer HOJO's. We stayed in a Kid Suite in October 07. The room was nothing like pictures. Much smaller and darker. The wood in the room seemed almost grimy. Also the walls seemed thin. Maybe the people by us were just loud. We did like that each kid had their own bed. The Kid Suite didn't really offer much in the way of privacy. It was really like a regular hotel room cut in half. Other people love the Portofino though so maybe we just had a bad room. We have stayed at HOJO's many times and like it a lot.
