Frequently Asked Questions and Any Last-Minute Questions

Hi, all!

We'll be leaving for the Decade of Dreams Tour on Friday, and our ability to check this forum, answer PMs, and answer e-mails will be limited. So if you have questions, this is a good time to ask. Feel free to post 'em in this thread or PM me. Here are some answers to frequently asked questions to help everyone out:

Q: Where are the schedules of events for the Decade of Dreams Tour?
A: Here are links to the Cruise Meet Schedule and the Disney World Meet Schedule

Q: Can I attend the meets even if I don't have a PassPorter, regularly post on these boards, and/or book with Mouse Fan Travel?
A: Absolutely! There are only a couple of events that require something special, and those are noted. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend otherwise.

Q: Is there any cost to attend a meet?
A: Generally not, no. Some meets might involve buying yourself a meal or drink, or in the case of our Birthday Party, purchasing a reservation. Of course, any meet in the park requires that you have a park pass.

Q: Can I bring my friends and family to a meet?
A: Yes!

Q: Can I leave a meet early?
A: Yes, but be aware that if there are any prizes associated with a meet, they won't be awarded until the end.

Q: What's this about meet magnets on the cruise and meet buttons at Disney World? How do I get one?
A: I have made commemorative magnets (for stateroom doors on the cruise) and buttons (for your lanyards) for each of the meets I plan to attend. I'll be passing these out to the participants at the meets (while supplies last, of course). Collect these and on the last day of the cruise tour/Disney World tour, we'll be awarding a prize to the person with the most unqiue meet magnets on their door and the most unique meet button on their lanyard.

Q: Lanyards? Did someone say lanyards? And what about nametags?
A: Yep, we had special lanyards made up for the Decade of Dreams Tour, and everyone gets one (while supplies last there too, of course). I'm also making nametags for everyone that posts in the check-in threads (links to the cruise check-in and the Disney World check-in threads); if you don't post, you can still get a hand-printed nametag made on the spot.

Q: Where do we get our lanyards and nametags?
A: On the cruise, we'll be handing them out at the "Let's Dance" Sailaway Meet on Saturday afternoon. At Walt Disney World, we'll be handing them out at the "This Could Be The Start of Something" Check-In Meet at Aloha Isle at Magic Kingdom. But if you can't make those events, you can just find me at any other event and let me know you're "checking in."

Q: I heard something about an awesome birthday party at The Seas. Can I still go?
A: Unfortunately, we reached our maximum of 80 guests and we had to close reservations. But if you were able to make a reservation before we closed them on 4/20, then you're in! If for any reason you're not sure, you should have a confirmation e-mail from your order and a record of the order in your history at the PassPorter Store.

Q: What if I have another question?
A: Post it here by 4/24 and I'll answer it. (Or feel free to send me a private message.) After this date, you can still post it here and hopefully someone else can chime in or I'll have a chance to check and answer it. If your question is urgent, send me a PM as I'm more likely to see it.

Thanks! I can't wait to see you all!
