Copy of e-mail I sent to WDW!!

This is a copy of an e-mail I just sent to Disney regarding park hours. I hope it does some good but I'm not counting on it!!!

Ken

First my background - 1) huge fan of all things Disney 2) frequent visitor to WDW 3) member of numerous online Disney fan boards 4) Home Based Travel Agent

Second, the issue - there are literally hundreds (not an exaggeration) of loyal Disney fans trying to plan vacations for the month of August who cannot do so because the park hours have not been released. According to one of these fans a cast member told her that it would be an additional two weeks because there are some folks who can not plan more than a couple of months in advance.
Although there may be those folks who are unable to plan in advance there are very many more who consider a WDW vacation a large enough event to plan very far in advance to maximize the magic on every visit.
I would hope that you would reconsider and publish the operating hours far enough in advance so these fans will be able to make appropriate ADR's at the 90 day time frame and maximize not only their vacations but also your revenue. After all I would think you would want to maximize table service occasions as the revenue they produce is much larger than the quick service locations on a per person basis.
I am not sending this because I will be an August visitor; my wife and I will be visiting in November. I just wanted to let you know that not releasing hours in a timely manner impacts a large number of your most loyal fans. Thank you for your consideration, and if I have not sent this to the correct address I would ask that you forward it to the appropriate office. Thanks again!!
