The last time I was there, they had to cancel my tour due to the launch. We had to reschedule it for later in the trip. We happened to be at the Boardwalk when the Shuttle launched and we saw it go up! It was really cool

I've been on the Up Close Tour twice, 2007 and in 2001, before 9/11. . . the tour is pretty much the same, only difference was the size of the tour. In 2001, we had a small bus which held about 20 people. Then in 2007, it was a regular tour bus. Both times, the tour guides were very knowledgeable and friendly. They were willing to answer any questions. Hopw this helps.
