| We were on the up close tour the first time they were trying to land the shuttle, and were supposed to be out as it touched down. So they must have know pretty early on it wasn't going to happen because they still took us out.
The tour guides were just amazing, the facts they were rattling off left many of us feeling like we were back in school in a class that was over our heads. Thy knew every launch from every pad, manned and unmanned as well as a wealth of stories from all over the center. Its worth it if you have time.
