My suggestion would be New Smyrna Beach. It is just south of Daytona Beach. It is much quieter than Daytona Beach or Cocoa Beach. If you drive a couple miles south down A1A from NSB you will end up at the National Sea Shore. There are lots of places to pull off and you could walk for miles along the beach or you could just set up in front of one of the wooden walkways and swim, beach comb, and just enjoy the beauty and solitude it offers. I think it is a great way to slow down and relax after a busy WDW vacation. There is also a nice little downtown area on the ocean side of NSB for eating or shopping.
