| Launches are often scrubbed though due to small glitches, computer issues or warnings. One word of note - to drive anywhere near there on a launch day generally has traffic on the Beeline tollway backed up BIG TIME. Allow for traffic.
We saw one years ago from Titusville (very near) and if not for a 3 hour fog delay, we would have missed it for the traffic.
As for the center, it is amazing. I could spend hours in the Apollo building. The launch recreation brings chills to me everytime I sit through it.
One other thing - if you visit and know you will be back in Florida within a year - they have a deal to upgrade a single day ticket to an AP for something like $12. We were there in May 2008 for a marching band trip and upgraded our package tickets for my family to the AP knowing we'd be back in Sept 08.
