Yes everyone that is listed on the reservation has to be on the DDP, for length of stay too, if you choose to purchase it. Now you can get around this somewhat. You cannot list your sister on the reservation, as long as you're not going over the occupancy limit by doing this. The only downside to this is that she will not get a KTTW card in her name. If that does not matter to her then you can do it this way.

When the DW and I booked our trip in Sept we asked about this, as my DMiL is staying with us but for only for 5 of 14 nights. We were told that if she is listed in the room then she HAD to buy the DDP for the whole time, but if we did not list her she would not be able to get a room key. Now this might of just been a CM who did not know what they were talking about, as that NEVER happens !! It never hurts to ask.
