Single Rider line and height requirement??

When we go in November, there are a few rides that my 8 (turning 9 at trip) daughter will be riding alone. She wants to ride all the thrill rides! Her brothers arent into the thrill rides and I would love to ride, but have a three yr old that will be too short for some of the rides. Sooooo-- When possible, she will use the single rider line; but will they let us still wait in line with her?? And even though my 3 yr old will be too short (I know they measure at the begening of the lines) will they let him enter the line with us when I explain that we are just waiting w/ my daughter?? There is no way I would put her in line alone........... we just want to wait with her, and then exit........... The rides that we will be doing this on are RRC, Expedition Everest, Space Mountain, and a few more probably.....
