It's traditional here to give children a "significant" present on the day they receive their final report card, they call it "grading day". Last year that's when we gave them the Wii. Grading day was Monday, and dh made me
wait! (And I didn't have anything else ready for a grading day present!) But we booked our flights Monday night, so we told them yesterday. Tonight we watched the new planning dvd together, and dd is so excited! She kept saying "we're going to do that, and that, and that, and we're definitely going to do that...". On our first trip she was hysterical throughout the Space Ranger Spin (and it's not like you can stop the ride and get her off), so we really took it easy after that, but she's looking at ALL the thrill rides, even ones I know I am not up for, and wanting to go! We'll see.

Ds has a cold and is more subdued, but I'm so glad it's out now--I could hardly contain myself!
Tomorrow we are making a paper chain to count off the time (
Seventy nine days?? Why can't we go
now?), and I'm going to get them some dollar-store Disney notebooks to make their "lists". I also found some dollar-store wallets with Disney characters, so they can start saving their allowances for souveniers.

We are very excited in my house right now!
