| When DD was 5 we went with disposables because we were still concerned with dropping and loss and didn't want to risk an investment in a real camera.
It wasn't until she was about 9 that we decided she kept track of her stuff enough that I knew I wouldn't always be running a camera census. Then we kept our eyes out for a good deal and bought one on a Black Friday sale.
