| We did this in March and our DDs really enjoyed it. It starts with a brief talk about the rays then you enter the water for the feeding. They have special feeding "troughs" that the rays swim through to get the food. After that there's the time to swim with them. Your daughter could stand back a bit to watch the feeding and see if she wants to get involved. There are rays swimming around but you can get out of their way. As for the swimming, they're mostly on the bottom so you somewhat hover over them. I think they said there were around 50 rays total in the area. It was a great experience and our DDs thought it was great. I think it's a pretty popular thing to do so I'd try to decide before you go.
