| We did this last August and she loved it. We also brought a dress from home (it was much better quality than the dresses they had.) Since it was hot out, she only wore her dress during our Princess Lunch at Epcot, otherwise she wore a cute little outfit that said "princess" on the shirt. I guess I didn't realize that people plan on wearing the dresses ALL day, and I was suprised (and felt bad) for some of the little girls we saw. It was really hot, and they were wearing the whole outfit (including the plastic shoes- which doesn't seem like it would be very comfortable.) We will definitely bring our own dress again and just throw it in the backpack until she's ready to wear it.
She wants to do it again, and I didn't think $50 was too terrible. Our son also did the "cool dude" package, I think it was $10, but he wasn't thrilled to be involved in it at all, so I think he'll skip the fun next time.
