Definitely not a bad mom! Each of us know our kids and how we want to handle situations like this! There were times I had no problem taking the kids out of school. Then there were times when one of them just couldn't miss because of the material being taught -- so that was the time when I started doing mom-son trips and took the one that could go. It always worked out perfectly and they became very responsible in high school...realizing when they could go to Disney and when they had to pass. Those AP courses were time-consuming for my Dguys!

As long as your school district/teachers allow the Disney time off, then go for it!
