| Reminder for those with Military IDs
We got an email from my DH's commander reminding us that Military IDs CANNOT be photocopied for any reason. Apparently there are many businesses who offer military discounts, but are requiring a photocopy of the ID in order to give the discount. It is illegal and can lead to very serious punishment- such as prison.
I seriously doubt that Disney is one of the businesses asking for a photocopy. But because there are so many new Disney visitors thanks to the Military Salute program right now, I thought this would be a good time to remind those of us who carry a mil id of the rules. Besides the fact that it is illegal, your ID also has SSNs on it. So more than one reason to keep it safe. |
