Could you tell me the pros and cons of these two hotels? I would LOVE to stay at the Grand but doubt I can get Dh to spend that much for 6 nights.

We are going in November with our two little one's ages 5 yrs and 18 months. I'm leaning towards Paradise Pier as it is a little less expensive but will the kids enjoy it as well?

I want to surprise the kids with a few things in the room. Will the Disney Vacation Planners help me arrange that at the PP?
