I want to surprise the kids with a few things in the room. Will the Disney Vacation Planners help me arrange that at the PP?
<font size="2" face="Comic Sans MS, Arial">They sure will! I just called them yesterday after I got my confirmation in the mail for our trip next week. They were so nice! I arranged to have a Sleeping Beauty doll and something Sorcerer Mickey or Buzz sent up for my kids on our day of arrival. (They deliver to the rooms between 4 and 5 pm.) He said he'd try to add balloons, and a card for each of them to the effect that the characters sent them a gift. (Not a specific character, but "the gang" at Disneyland.) I gave him a $30 limit per child, which he said would be no problem, and there is a $10 shopping fee. I can so hardly wait to see the kids' faces when we get to the room and they see this!! I can't wait!
I'll let you know how it goes when I get back!
Also, I'd go for the DLH with the kids ages in consideration. It's more convenient and the pool alone is worth it. Last time we stayed at PPH, you could pool hop, but it was a bit of a hassle to walk all the way over there. We sprung for the DLH this time, because DS wanted to stay at the "Peter Pan Hotel." (The pool is themed to Peter Pan, but he identified the whole hotel by the pool. Think he's ready for a swim? LOL)
