I've been on four different cruise lines (including Carnival and Royal Caribbean) and Disney is by far my favorite.
The ships (both Magic and Wonder) are gorgeous and the evening shows are spectacular. We had our teenager with us last year and she loved every minute of the cruise.
While in Nassau, we ventured on the snorkeling excursion, which was the best snorkeling trip we've taken on a cruise. Other than that, not much to say about Nassau.
We loved Castaway Cay, and rented bikes while there. If you bike all the way along the trail to the end, there are some interesting sites to see.
If you are into casino's, there are none on any of
DCL's ships, but plenty in Nassau/Freeport.
The dining experience on
DCL is great...a different restaurant each night (total of three), with different themes. And the food is better than what you've heard! (At least that's what we found out.)
I highly recommend
DCL to anyone taking a cruise!
