I read a lot of PDFs on my Kindle, mostly for work. Please note that the best way to view a PDF on a Kindle (unless you have the DX) is to change the orientation to landscape view or else you will have itty bitty type and it's useless to read.
I've tried converting the PassPorter PDF's to mobi files using Calibre but it didn't turn out so well - mainly because of the pictures. It makes everything go wonky and, well, the pictures are one of the best parts of the PP! So I'm happy to keep them as PDF's. Please note that you can NOT edit the PDF's on your Kindle.
To get the PP's on your Kindle, it's super simple!
1. Download the information from this site.
2. Connect your Kindle to your computer.
3. Drag & drop the PDF's to your "Documents" folder
4. Unhook your Kindle from the computer and VOILA! Readin' on the Run! |
I've used this same method with my NookColor and now have the 2011 PassPorter plus some of the other eBooks on it.
