Great thread...it's amazing the amount of challenges each family deals with daily, yet you can't keep us from a trip to see the Mouse!
My 2 sons (ages 16 & 12) have a genetic disorder called Sanfilippo Syndrome (MPS IIIB). It causes metal retardation, hyperactivity and sleep disruption. They are both non-verbal with mental age of between 18 months-3 years. Waiting in lines for anything is really hard for them.
Disney trips are enjoyed by our whole family, but the boys especially enjoy the entertainment...shows, parades and character greetings. [img]images/icons/smile.gif[/img] |
