Re: What local attractions near you are worth seeing?

This is SUPER!! I live in northeast Ohio on the PA line-and work in the Pymatuning Valley School District (the Ohio side of the lake).
Ann (disneyknut): I couldn't believe it when I saw the Pymatuning Lake Spillway in Lineville, PA. It's so gross that it's cool. Linesville-where the ducks walk on the fish. We have great fun bouncing balls of bread off the fish.
All Ears: Toledo Zoo is one of our favorites. We lived in Toledo for 5 years and always bought a membership. The hippo-aquarium was great as was the new (a few years ago) chimp/ape house.
One nice thing about where we live is that we can be tons of places within 4 hours-Niagara Falls, Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Akron, Canton, Toledo, Columbus, West Virginia, Detroit, Canada, etc. We're really in the middle of nowhere but it's not far from some neat places. We were in Canada and saw a commerial for Ohio's North Coast. I'd never heard that before. Cedar Point is great and I really miss Sea World (Six Flags Ohio doesn't do it for me). Other neat places: Presque Isle State Park near Erie, the Zippo Museum in Bradford, Cook Forest State Park-all in PA and the Warther museum in Dover, Lee Middleton Doll Factory in Belpre/Marietta, Inventure Place in Akron, Football Hall of Fame (although I've never been there because I don't like football) in Ohio and not too far away-Canaan Valley State Park in West Virginia and Swallow Falls in Maryland.
I told you we live in a great area-halfway between Cleveland and Pittsburgh!
