Usually whenever PassPorter has a new contest, like the current
iPad Photo Contest, going on from now until May 1st, some slowdowns are to be expected, but it's going to be "felt" more at busier times like first thing in the morning (for those getting to work and/or the kids off to school
), around lunchtime, and/or early evening. So, if it's really noticeable and you're on during these times, try to skew -- I know! Its' so easier said than done. LOL -- your regular visits for a slightly more "off" time. Also, once the contest is over, the site should be back to normal even at the more usual peak hours.
Hope that helps a little. Although I have to say that this time around, the contest hasn't seemed to bog us down nearly as bad as the first one. Whew. That one was definitely more painful.
EDIT: However, if you notice it no matter when, even at like super odd hours, PM Jennifer and let her know! Plus, I'll move this to the "main" PassPorter forum so she can see it and keep a better eye on anyone else reporting the same.
