At Disneyland they will clear an area if there is a suspicious package. It is very possible that security detected suspicious activity such as drugs, weapons, or unattended packages. I would not worry unless they made everyone move half a mile away. I have seen at Disneyland the dogs brought out 3 or 4 times for false alarms.

Of course you never know when policy changes but I have not heard anything online about Disney bring out dogs to check monorails on a regular basis.
