I just returned from a stay at Candy Cane Inn, and it'll be hard to get me to stay elsewhere. It was awesome! It was about $10 more per night than Tropicana (my other go-to), but it wound up being less expensive because of the free parking and actual edible breakfast. We just love the "family feel" at Candy Cane. Many long-term employees and a general Disney feel even though it's a Good Neighbor. I also liked that they didn't charge a fee for early check in. We arrived around noon, and our room was ready. When we stayed at Tropicana in October, we arrived mid-morning and were charged an early check in fee (around $20 if I remember correctly). Our room wasn't even ready yet. I'm not a fan of being nickel and dimed. I'd rather just know what the costs are up front.
