I wouldn't exactly call it a hike but it will take a couple minutes to get to the main building. We stayed in Calypso with our kids and they loved it. They loved walking up the steps inside the bongo drum and the huge marachas in front, and you can't beat the buildings for convenience. I really did appreciate being close to the food (we ate in the food court a lot) and the buses. If you decide to stay closer in, you can always take a stroll around the property during you visit to look at the other buildings. --HiddenMickey
