Re: \"Beat the Heat\" Tips

I was at WDW in March and I'm returning in just a few days. I know this sounds extreme but I purchased a mister while there last time. At OKW our ice machine was at the bus station. I would fill the mister with cold water and then add ice to the water. That was great for a cool off at mid-morning.

For all day. Drink tons of water. The mister you purchase at the park can passed around to everyone. I also had a small fan that I carried in my bag. While in line for the rides we would break out our fans.

Lights colored clothes- for heat and bugs
Wash cloth in a zip lock bag with some water. A quick pick me up.

Ask you local drug store for a cool wrap for your neck. You place it in cold water it swells with in ten minutes, and is placed around your neck. That works wonders. I used it for sunburn the first day.

sunscreen...lots of sunscreen.

don't be afraid to walk into a shop just to cool off...that can help....

and the number one cool off...Epcot Ice Station..
