My understanding as well was the room location. Lodge concierge you are located in a different building (usually Sago Cay), Main building concierge is exactly what it sounds like - your room is right there in the Main building by the Concierge Lounge (which is located on the 5th floor if I remember correctly). Staying Lodge concierge you still have access to the Main Building concierge lounge, but it is just a little less convenient because you have to walk to a different building to get there.
When we stayed at GF last year, we were there on the Platinum Plan. Our room was in Conch Cay but because we were Platinum guests, we were given concierge access, which was very nice. We used the concierge staff several times (who were very nice & helpful) and we ate breakfast & snacks in the lounge. Both the hotel & concierge staff were wonderful. |
