I think the only resort they're selling right now (other than resale) are the Beach Club Villas. We bought into DVC in 12/00. My in-laws have been members since 92 and we stayed in the villas several time with them. After staying there we were spoiled and could not imagine staying in a regular hotel room with our kids.
We love WDW and knew we wanted to take our kids as often as possible, so we just looked at is as spending the majority of the money up front. The monthly dues payments just ended up being another bill that you get used to. Although we'll probably always use the points at WDW or on DCL, we like that you have the option of going other places also. |
