We just bought in to DVC in April. We'll be taking our first trip as DVCers in October. I can't wait! Using your points at a DVC property is by far your most efficient use of points. Off all the places I would choose to buy in, it would be for the Beach Club. Stormalong Bay looks incredible and it's close to the Boardwalk (which we like to go to, but, transportation is the pits), and close to Epcot. We knew that we'd keep going back and why not pay now for 40 years of vacations. Your points won't go up, so I figure every year at Disney will get cheaper for us. Also, the accomodations are top notch. I think it is a great investment (not to mention the interest is deductible, I believe)! Take the tour when you go, it is only about an hour and there is NO pressure!
