We have been DVC members since 1994 and we did get free passes until 1999 and it was wonderful. OKW is our home resort and we have 210 pts there and 50 add-on at HHI resort. This allows us multiple trips each year and it has been well worth the price. We were just there for New Years at OKW and are returning in June to try BCV. It is a great plan, very flexible and of course, Disney Magic!
