[Disneyphile's Wife]

We, too, just got back from the Wilderness Lodge, and we've decided that it's our favorite, so far, of all the WDW resorts. Yes, the lobby is huge; it leaves you with the feeling that it's not crowded. (I hate crowds.) We also enjoyed the convenience. With a 7yo, we spend a lot of time at the Magic Kingdom, which is just a boat ride away. No monorail, and I've been developing an aversion to the monorail (too crowded, and too much time spent on the feet.) And, once you get back, you're there: no walking from the bus stop for forever to get to your room. The snack bar is down the elevator, not four buildings away. And I loved the music they had playing: lots of Copeland.

I'll admit, most of my comparisons are to the All-Star, which is a Value compared to the Wilderness Lodge Deluxe, but we loved it. Next time we go, I'm campaigning to return there.
