Re: Back home from the Wilderness Lodge!

Colexi's mom---

We had made a reservation for a standard room, however, when we checked in the cast member upgraded us to a courtyard view with no additional cost! We were in room 4165. Honestly, the next time I stay there, I will definitely ask for the courtyard view. We really enjoyed the view it provided. We could watch the electric water pageant from our balcony each night. It was so magical.

I will tell you that I thought our room was a bit too long of a walk from roaring forks. I would ask for something in the north wing. I have heard that mentioned by several other people and I believe it is good advice.

The pool there is alot of fun. I enjoyed roaring forks for lunches and drinks. I could not get over how quiet the hotel was. So nice. As for transportation, we used the boat whenever we were going to magic kingdom. We never waited more than 5 minutes. It was very nice. As for the buses, we seemed to be lucky. The bus seemed to arrive a few minutes after we reached the terminal each time. I really do not enjoy the buses, but I did not find it aggravating. I agree that you have to wait for the monorail, as well. So, it is really only 6 of one, 1/2 dozen of the other. Know what I mean?

I hope you enjoy your trip. I really loved that place. Let me know if you need any other info!
