Re: Back home from the Wilderness Lodge!

I just want to second Michelle's suggestion to try for the north wing. We had booked a standard room and also were upgraded to courtyard upon arrival. The first room they gave us was in the south wing, but with a 5 and 7 YO I felt that would be a lot of walking, so I politely asked if they had anything in the north wing. The CM was very nice and found another courtyard room in the north wing for us, and it was great. It was a short walk to the elevator to Roaring Fork and a short walk to the stairs to the pool and the path to the boat dock.

We didn't have any trouble with the transportation, though we mostly used the boat. We prefer taking the car to busses, but the few times we did use the busses we had very short waits.

Have fun!
