I just happened upon this post and I would add an extra pair of eye glasses, if you have and wear them. I know I am LOST without mine, and my particular prescription is so strong that only a few labs in the country can make them. A trip would be totally RUINED for me if I broke mine and didn't have a spare pair with me.

I would also, based on personal experience, add lotion to my list of "must haves". Last year, I got sunburned and had no lotion with me. I bought a sample-size bottle at the resort gift shop for $2.50

I'll never do that again!
