This weekend I was catching up on Trip Reports and a question came up as I was reading one. Fan of Mickey had a trip to WDW that was due to end just as Hurrican Jeanne made her way to Florida, forcing her to stay two extra nights in Orlando since she had no way home. She was not able to stay in her room at PopC because they were full and had a heck of time finding a place to stay (eventually stayed at a Super 8 off property). So, here's the question: I understand that in Florida, law says that if someone decides to stay at their hotel past their check-out time/date, they can't be 'evicted'. Could she have stayed in her room and refused to leave? What would they likely have charged her?
Anyone have any input on this? Really curious how this works.
Janine--Hope you don't mind me using you as an example. I felt so bad for you, reading your report

, and wondered if this could have been a solution to your dilemma.
