We had them on one trip to the WL and the lighting was fine.If one child is older and wants to read and/or stay up a little later then they might want the bottom bunk!Our kids loved the "lodge/woods" view rooms on the North side as we overlooked a wonderful pond with a cute little otter and ducks, and had a great view(especially on the ground floor) of the MK fireworks.
