MOUSEFEST 2004
OUR WONDERFUL TRIP WITH THE MOUSE
Day 4, All at Sea:
Okay, I need to set the record straight - the Disney Love Song Trivia wasn't last night, it was tonight (

don't know how I got the two confused

, I kept pretty good notes....). There was a 70's music trivia thing last night, which I'd sorta forgotten about

.....No prizes to be won, however!

(probably why I forgot about it

)
Anyway -
We got up at 8 and started packing. We went to Parrot Cay for a MouseFest breakfast meet - Bob and I sat across from Dave Marx and had a nice chat with everyone at the table.

At one point, Pluto came by to visit.

We decided that on future cruises we'd come here for breakfast, as the buffet was much more extensive than Beach Blanket Buffet. More great food!!
After breakfast we went to the Buena Vista Theatre, where we watched "The Incredibles." We'd been wanting to see this, and were happy to have the chance. We thoroughly enjoyed it.
Back to the stateroom for more packing, then to Triton's for lunch. For the first time on the trip, I had to send something back to the galley. The angel hair pasta was just too spicy hot for me

, so I had crab and cod cakes instead, which were quite tasty.
Bob went to the pool, and I attended a class on how to make the cute little towel animals we'd enjoyed. Our class was taught to make the dog, the swan, the elephant, and the monkey (which is the only one I can remember how to do

). We were given handouts with instructions for these and a few more....the monkey isn't on the instruction sheet, so it's a good thing I remember how to make it

!
I collected Bob and we returned to the room, where I proceeded to make a monkey for Arman to find

! We then went to the Hidden Mickey hunt, led by Steve Barrett

.
Steve led us around the ship, pointing out several hidden Mickeys, some of which I'd already noticed, and some of which I hadn't. We also pointed out a few that Steve had overlooked

.
At the end of the hunt, there was a drawing.....You guessed it! I won a Christmas ornament signed by Captain Henry (our ship's Captain).
We dressed for dinner, then went to the MEV party in WaveBands. There was a nice spread of yummy appetizers (more food!)

. We sat at a table with Ann and George, and the drawing began....Okay, okay

....Bob won a $25 PassPorter gift certificate (which I'll make very good use of

), Ann won a $50 PP gift certificate, I won a Magic Kingdom picture frame, and George won a Disneyland polo shirt. At another table, Ray won a Tower of Terror talking call bell. I think our luck was rubbing off

....There was a slide show going on all during the party

of the pictures that had been taken by (I think!) Deb Wills and the MEV gang, plus maybe Jennifer....I really don't know....There was one of Bob and myself onstage during the "Match Your Mate"

game, plus a couple of the boys doing their "YMCA" routine, which got a lot of laughs

.
Now here's where the Disney Love Song thingy goes, so you can go back and read it again, if you want to....And that's why Bob was late - He was taking the picture frame back to our stateroom (he wasn't in the bathroom after all....I think!

)
To the Walt Disney theatre for "Disney Dreams", which I think was the best of the three stage shows we saw. The cast again did a super job. I don't know how they do it....maybe because they're so young, and their brains are in proper working order....

???
To Parrot Cay for dinner. We had Danna and Niti practically to ourselves

, and had a nice chat with Danna. We told her about what my son calls his two-year-old..."Shiva, the Destroyer". I knew that she'd understand, because Shiva is a Hindu God, and she got a big kick out of it, and filled us in on some Hindu mythology, which was very interesting.
As promised, they'd set up a private table for the two of us, which was really very nice

. I felt quite pampered!
We returned to our stateroom, where we found that Arman had made a towel monkey himself, putting chocolates into a fold for the eyes. Cute!!
We arranged for a wake up call from Mickey

(our first), set our check-through luggage into the passageway, and settled in for a good night's sleep, as tomorrow would be an extremely busy day! And so, to bed....
