| Re: Is concierge level worth the $$$? If you intend to spend most of your waking moments at the parks, then you may not think concierge is worth the money. You have to spend time lounging around the resort to really get the full benefit of concierge. And I don't mean this just from a standpoint of dollars and cents (just how much is each continental breakfast really worth?). When I stay in concierge and have the time to enjoy it, it's a wonderful, relaxing experience. When I'm dashing around the parks on research trips or at events like MouseFest, I feel I've cheated myself of the luxuries available.
I've also done trips where I've stayed just a night or two in concierge. For me, one night feels like a waste. You barely get settled in before it's over. Two nights is OK, but more is definitely much, much better. Relaxation is a state of mind, and it's very hard to turn it on and off at whim. |
