Dining at Disney is constantly changing, so we’ve created this thread to answer some of your most frequently asked questions in the Eateries forum. We also aim to try and explain some of the most commonly used shorthands.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS: What is the Disney Dining Experience?
Essentially it’s a discount programme which gives Florida residents and Annual or Seasonal Passholders 20% off the price of food and beverages (including alcohol) at a huge range of restaurants on Disney property. There are some exclusions – for example, you can’t get the discount on major holidays and the discount only applies to the member’s check.
It costs $85.00 for Florida residents to join and $70.00 for a renewal. If you're an Annual or Seasonal Passholder (and this includes Annual Passholders for Pleasure Island), then it costs $60.00 to join. If you want to add your partner, then that will cost an additional $25.00.

How can I get into Cinderella’s Royal Table?
This used to be one of the hardest dining experiences at Disney to snag and still may present some problems, but now that the characters are present for breakfast, lunch and dinner, it's made things a lot easier.

here SHORTHANDS: ADR's - Advanced Dining Reservations:
Not the same as a reservation, it guarantees your party the next available table at table service restaurants.
CP – the Crystal Palace
This restaurant is at the top of Main Street and is home to Pooh and his pals, who are there for breakfast, lunch and dinner. All meals are buffet and eat as much as you can.
CRT – Cinderella’s Royal Table
This restaurant, in Cinderella’s Castle in the Magic Kingdom, is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
DDE – Disney Dining Experience

H&V – Hollywood and Vine
Serves a dinner buffet in MGM nightly.
LTT – Liberty Tree Tavern
This restaurant, in Liberty Square in the Magic Kingdom, serves both lunch and dinne. Lunch is a la carte and at the eat all you can dinner, characters including Minnie and Pluto, are present and the food is brought to your table.
PS – Priority Seatings
This is what Advanced Dining Reservations used to be called.
PSB – Princess Storybook breakfast
This is served daily in Restaurant Akerhaus in Norway and although it’s an easier Princess meal to book than the breakfast at Cinderella Royal Table, it’s still exceptionally popular.
