Do you carry your PassPorter to the parks?

This will be my first trip with a PassPorter. I have the 2004 spiral version but will have the deluxe version once it gets here! I was wondering how many of you actually take them to the park with you and what is your preferred method of carrying it? I usually wear a waist pack and taking the whole book might be a bit bulky. I could use a back pack but I prefer not having something hanging off of me, especially if it gets hot!! (if!! yeah right) I would love to have the info with me to review if I need to. This is only my third trip to WDW and I want to slow down and notice some of the details and I know that the PP would help. Do you pull out the appropriate pages and just carry those? Would they get mashed up? If you have any great solutions pls let me know! Thanks!
