Welcome to the boards, Cindy! If you would like to save some money and like to make some of your own meals, I would say a home away from resort. We always stayed at Old Key West when the boys were younger. A 2 bedroom would be great for you. ALso a full kitchen, washer and dryer in room and grills by the pool! HAve fun!
