You must go to Acadia, of course. The Park Loop Road is a wonderful 27 mile drive around and through the park. Try to eat the the Jordan Pond House restaurant. They have delicious popovers. A whale watch is always fun, but if you are only staying overnight you may not have time.
Another good place to eat is the Island Chowder House (the BEST chowder in BH) or Rosalie's pizza (the BEST pizza in BH).
We are vacationing in Bar Harbor in August...and live in Maine year round. Any other questions, feel free to ask.
