MouseFest 2007 is over. It was a busy time and fun was had by all! 780 guests registered for MouseFest Land in 2007 and 168 joined in for the MouseFest Cruise! For a small fee, attendees had the opportunity to register - supporting the rising costs of such a big event and earning them a great registration packet loaded with MouseFest goodies. Subscribers of PassPorter's Club also took advantage of some great planning tools and everyone had FREE access to a MouseFest Planning eWorksheet through PassPorter's Club. PassPorter’s Ice Cream Social
WEDNESDAY, Dec. 10, 2008: 3:00 pm–open, Goofy’s Galley/Beach Blanket Buffet outside eating area (deck 9, aft)
Get your favorite ice cream at Goofy’s Galley then join us at the outdoor tables on the deck behind Beach Blanket Buffet for some fun! We’ll hang out, swap stories about our amazing cruise, and play some trivia. Complimentary “PassPorter Pal” cloisonne pins provided to those who join us! No RSVP necessary.

PassPorter’s 10th Anniversary “Around the World” Celebration Kickoff
FRIDAY, Dec. 12, 2008: 8:30 pm, Italy pavilion at Epcot (meet at the base of the tallest statue in the piazza)
Exactly ten years ago tonight, Jennifer and Dave Marx were in the midst of their very first hard-core research trip for this new idea they had for a book, a little thing they called PassPorter. Of course, “little” doesn’t describe the task they took on, tackling the biggest vacation destination in the United States. Together with the help of a core team and tens of thousands of readers, PassPorter grew and expanded, year by year. Along the way, PassPorter has won awards and hit the bestseller list time and time again. None of this would have happened without the love and support of YOU, the Disney fan community. We may have started out small, but together we have built PassPorter into something mighty! Join Jennifer and Dave this evening as they celebrate their first steps and kickoff their year-long “Decade of Dreams” celebration in style! We’ll start off the celebration with a bang as we watch IllumiNations together in Italy, in recognition of one of the first international destinations that PassPorter guides covered. Then we’ll walk over together to The American Adventure to watch the show and celebrate PassPorter’s own little “American Dream” success story. We’ll cap off the evening together with a yummy snack at a nearby eatery, compliments of PassPorter. And everyone still with us in our party wearing a MouseFest lanyard or PassPorter pouch/pin/badge will receive free one-month’s “Dream Pass” to the PassPorter’s Club as a special thank-you gift for sharing our dream with us. Margarita Meet: Join PassPorter member and event host, ilovedisney247 (Heather), at the Margarita Kart in Mexico on Saturday Dec 13, 2008 from 4-5pm for Fiesta Margaritas and a Mexican Pavilion mini treasure hunt! Did you know that the kiwi flavor has changed to green apple? What else do you know about the Mexican Pavilion? Fun Margarita related prizes will be awarded at 5pm!

PassPorter's Dinner by the Lagoon Meet and Eat Event - Come join your host, PassPorter Guide Deb (Eeyore Tattoo), and fellow MouseFesters for a casual dinner and dessert meet and eat event at Epcot on Saturday, December 13, 2008 at 5:00 PM at the Yorkshire County Fish Shop, followed immediately thereafter by dessert at Boulangerie Patisserie. No reservations required for this counter service meet and eat event! Perfect for families and solo travelers!!!

PassPorter's 2nd Annual Illuminations and Antenna Topper Exchange Event: Light up the night and join MouseFest veteran Event Host and PassPorter Guide Don (duck addict) for a tradition-in-the-making - this year's souvenir exchange and meet & greet during Illuminations. Saturday, December 13, 2008. 8:15 PM Near Italy.

PassPorter's 3rd Annual Ornament Exchange: Ho! Ho! Ho! and Happy Holidays! Join MouseFest veteran Event Host and PassPorter Guide Debbie (debe) for one of MouseFest's most beloved events - an ornament exchange and meet & greet. Sunday, December 14, 2008 1:30 PM.

PassPorter’s Farewell to Friends Meet
MONDAY, Dec. 15, 2008: 6:00 pm–open, ABC Commissary (meet outside doors)
Come celebrate the end of another great MouseFest with us. Have dinner with us at ABC Commissary—dessert is our treat! Then we’ll stroll over to the Streets of America Backlot to enjoy the Osborne Lights together.

I won't be at Mousefest in 2008. It is just way to close to Christmas. Oh well...I wish they had Mousefest in June instead of December....there is too much going on in December and it is hard to get away.

I would absolutely LOVE to go to Mousefest 2008....but working at a school, it just isn't possible! I am so envious of those who get to go and meet up with other great passporters!
Chrissi - I will be at WDW on Dec. 29th! That is the one night we are going during our stay in Florida for the holidays. I will miss being a part of the chat - but I hope you guys will be able to come up with some wonderful ideas! I am sure you will!

Lord Willing I'll be there as I have vacation December 7-13th. Just not sure what to do-DD has said she wants to "sit this one out" so it'd be just DS and myself. Don't know if I'll leave her here (which would make a great set-up to take her on a solo trip for HS grad) or what.
